After establishing technical partnerships with HAGEN in Germany and SAFT in France, Korea Special Battery has continued to enhance its technological capabilities through various activities. In 1998, we successfully localized and developed silver oxide-zinc batteries for medium-weight torpedoes (White Shark).

After changing our company name to “Korea Special Battery Co., Ltd.,” we continued our research while focusing on various technological developments. In 2019, we installed a 750kWh lead-acid battery ESS for the national highway solar power generation system in Tongyeong-si, Gyeongsangnam-do, Korea.
